I now have the Artisan 50 connected to an iMac G5 running Tiger. I’m using Disc Cover to layout my CD/DVD label designs and I was a little concerned that it wouldn’t support the brand-new Artisan 50. Sure enough, it isn’t listed as a supported printer, but it turns out that selecting “Epson Tray Type 2″ works just fine.

This printer satisfies every gripe I have about printers. Usually there’s some quality about one that makes you say, “It would have been perfect, but if only it didn’t have this one problem.” Each aspect of this printer is as good or better than pretty much all other printers out there at this time. And I’m a person who is relentless when it comes to researching products before buying them for myself.

Easy to set-up, easy to use. Using the XP scanner utility, it spans flawlessly. It prints as expected, seldom jams. It does all that can be expected of it.

I read a ton of reviews about different lower priced laser printers and found this to be the best choice – and it seems I made the right decision. The price was great and though I have only had it for a month or so, I love it so far.

After a month using this printer, I’m delighted. Compared to my ink printer, the brother prints at lightning speed. And every time I print something, I smile at the money I’m saving.

I choose the Canon 640 after considering several other inkjet printers. I was looking for an alternate to sending my pictures off to other sites to be printed and a printer to handle the occasional other jobs.

Printing quality is great so far but I’ve only printed business documents, I’ll update this review after I print some pictures.

I enjoy shopping on Amazon, cruising for those specials offered regularly. That research takes a bit of time, including reading reviews, but I enjoy that type of browsing, so I’m a satisfied customer every-which-way.
